Dr. Ali Vahdani is a highly experienced Specialist Psychiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and mental health service development across inpatient and outpatient settings. He has particular expertise in neuropsychiatry, neuromodulation therapies, liaison psychiatry, and personalized mental healthcare, with a special interest in the interface between brain function, emotional regulation, cognition, and physical health.

Dr. Vahdani has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, stress-related disorders, cognitive and neuropsychiatric presentations, and complex psychosomatic conditions. His clinical approach integrates evidence-based psychopharmacology, psychotherapy principles, neuroscience-informed assessment, and modern biological treatment approaches to support individualized and functional recovery.

He has over 15 years of experience in Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and other neuromodulation approaches included tDCS, Neurofeedback, qEEG and brain mapping and so, with particular interest in their application in depression, anxiety disorders, cognitive and neuropsychiatric conditions, sleep-related disorders, and functional recovery. He also has a strong professional interest in precision psychiatry, resilience, mental wellness, and longevity-focused care.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Vahdani served for over a decade as Head of Psychiatry and Mental Health Department at the Iranian Hospital Dubai, where he also held senior leadership positions in healthcare quality improvement, accreditation, education, and strategic planning. He has led multiple healthcare improvement initiatives and international educational programs across the UAE and internationally.
